No bake snickers slice šŸ„œā

Theyā€™re quick, theyā€™re easy and they tend to be a bit healthier than baked treats. These ā€œsnickersā€ squares are the perfect chocolately peanut treat, we are obsessed šŸ¤©ā 
ā 
Ingredients:

ā 
For the base:ā 

  • 1 cup oat flourā 
  • 1/2 cupĀ @unicornsuperfoodsĀ caramel slice protein powderā 
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butterā 
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup ā 
  • 4 tbsp unsweetened oat milkā 

Caramel layer:ā 

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butterā 
  • 1/4 cup maple syrupā 
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, meltedā 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extractā 
  • 2 cups vegan milk chocolate / dark chocolateā 
  • 2 tsp coconut oilā 
  • Handful of peanuts ā

Method:ā 

  1. Line a 8x8 baking tin with parchment paper.ā 
  2. To make the base, add the oat flour and protein powder to a bowl. Mix to combine. Add the peanut butter, maple syrup and oat milk. Once combined, press the base into the prepared baking tin. Make sure itā€™s a smooth even layer.ā 
  3. Make the caramel layer by adding the smooth peanut butter, maple syrup, melted coconut oil (melt the coconut oil in a mug in the microwave for 40 seconds) and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. ā 
  4. Pour the caramel onto the base layer.ā 
  5. Place the baking tin in the freezer for 1 hour to allow the caramel to set.ā 
  6. Add the chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 35 second bursts, stirring in between until completely melted.ā 
  7. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the caramel layer. Quickly add the peanuts on top of the chocolate as the chocolate will begin to set. ā 
  8. Place the baking tin back into the freezer for 1 hour. ā 
  9. Once set, cut the bars as small or as big as you like.Ā
